I think this is a great idea, my name is Suzette and you can find me at Spankey927 on Facebook and Twitter. I like to watch makeup tutorials and learn from them. Erin is one of my favorites and I also subscribe to a few others on utube. This is my what I like to call me time. Having some time to myself to relax. So if any of you have tips or suggestions let me know, I would like to hear them.

Hi everyone,

I joined today. I guess I don't consider myself a beauty/fashion expert. I'm just a 30-something year old woman who looked in the mirror and wondered who that tired looking woman was looking back at her. So I cleaned out my closet a la Stacey and Clinton and I'm rebuilding my look from scratch. Fashion, makeup, shoes, accessories, everything.

I decided to start a blog because I follow alot of blogs for fashion/makeup/plus size but I noticed most of the bloggers were in their 20s. At 36, my needs are a bit different and my needs are also different because of my lifestyle. I work in a business casual environment as a database administrator but I sell handcrafted stationery at local art shows. Also I'm a grad student and a single mom to one fashion diva in training seven year old. Add to that I'm looking for a new job so I need to be able to have a look that works in many venues but is also budget friendly. So my blog is a way to hash things out while seeking some support and advice.
